I've just returned from an amazing movement and meditation retreat here in Mexico. I was invited to weave my growing astrology knowledge into the fabric of the retreat, and for the closing ceremony, I wrote a bit about the energies of the full moon and the Equinox happening just a few days apart.
Happy Spring Equinox! Every year the sun moves into the sign of Aries on the Spring Equinox, marking the beginning of the astrological new year and the official start of Spring. This is a day of the year when everything is brought into balance for a moment to mark the beginning of a new cycle.
I have to admit, I’ve been making the most of Pisces season dreamy vibes. Without even noticing, I just sorta started to let things slide right around The 19th of February when the sun moved into Pisces.
Aquarius likes nothing more than to challenge the status quo, rebel against convention and strive for a more ideal world. Regardless of our sun sign, we could all use a little dose of the Aquarian spirit right now!
Capricorn season is unique in that it straddles the fence between the calendar years. Capricorns are known for their ability to set and attain goals, and do the work necessary to get where they want to go.
Capricorn season begins on the Winter Solstice. It’s the sign that straddles the new calendar year and is naturally associated with “taking stock”. Capricorn is all about getting to the top of the mountain, which means assessing where you're currently at.
The key phrase for Sagittarius is "I see" or "I seek", asking us to always look at the bigger picture. As 2020 comes to a close, I think we could all use some Sagittarius optimism and big picture thinking!
