Dreamtime ......................................
I have to admit, I’ve been making the most of Pisces season dreamy vibes. Without even noticing, I just sorta started to let things slide right around The 19th of February when the sun moved into Pisces. We all drop the ball once in a while, of course, but I love the way this recent letting go felt very natural and intuitive. I didn’t plan on it, but I let it happen.
Pisces season is a beautiful time to dream and connect. Many people will notice interesting synchronicities while Neptune ruled Pisces is running the show. Just now as I am sitting down to write this, I looked up one of my favorite astrology blogs to get some inspiration, and they just happen to mention the book the Artist Way as a method for getting in touch with your dreams and your creative self. Just so happens that I started doing the Artist Way for the second time in my life a few weeks ago!
For those of you who have never heard of it, it’s a legendary guidebook by Julia Cameron, for unblocking and embracing your creative nature. One of the most fundamental exercises in the book is the “Morning Pages” which is a simple yet highly therapeutic practice of writing three pages of unfiltered thoughts every morning. I didn’t realize it at the time, but just as the sun was shifting to Pisces, I spontaneously started doing the morning pages again after many years of letting the practice go. Serendipitously, a few days later I see a message from a friend suggestion we do the Artist Way again. This is the kind of magic I love about Pisces. It had been several years since a group of us took on the 12-week journey together, but I’m still experiencing the effects. After I finished the book the first time,
I quit my job as a marine biologist, and made Betina Roza my full-time gig.
Who knows what will emerge this time around, I have no expectations, but I’ve got to say…... with all the tension we have experienced in the last year, a little permission to daydream feels like the perfect medicine
