Baskets woven out of colorful plastic cord are a modern twist on an old tradition. "Cestas de plástico" (plastic baskets) are both functional and decorative. They are made with a metal wire structure and then woven with a variety of colors. 

Although these baskets with lids are technically "Tortilleros" (tortilla holder), they would make a perfect catch all, or makeup/jewelry container and a snappy addition to bedroom or bathroom.
