San Juan Island Studio Tour
Islanders can be a reclusive bunch by nature, and local artists are generally not an exception to that rule. But once a year in June, when the weather starts to get warm, and summer is promising it's arrival, the San Juan Island artists open their doors to the public for a rare glimpse into the inner workings of their creative process. This is a chance for people to see not only the artwork they have been stacking away all winter, but also to see the private sanctuaries
where all the magic happens.
Sadly, and not surprisingly, we had to cancel last year's tour, but next month the Studio Tour is Back just in time to mark it's 30 year anniversary.
In case you haven't seen it, this is my tiny home studio.

If you follow me on social media, you have seen the extremely tiny size of my home studio. As much as I would love to invite you all into my own little world, I'm afraid it would not be much of a tour. But, lucky for me, I've been invited as a guest at Lisa Lange's studio along with 2 other artists. If you live on the island or are able to get here the weekend of June 5-6, please stop by and say hi! If you can't make it, at least take a moment to check out some of the local artists
I am honored to call my friends.
