Leo Season, an Invitation to Play

Last week on the full moon the sun moved into Leo, arguably the most expressive sign of the Zodiac. The sun is at home in this sign and its energy is strengthened, enhancing our collective feelings of confidence, generosity and creativity.  This time of year, is an invitation to celebrate self and actively participate in the grand play that is life. This fiery shift in energy is a good reminder that without joy and play, we cannot create, and without creativity, self-expression is not possible.  We all have a little Leo inside us, an inner divine child, that just wants to play their heart out and soak up every last drop of summer.

 

I don’t know about you, but I for one, could use a lot more time to soak up summer. July is almost over and I haven’t even eaten a single raspberry! To say that San Juan Island has been hoppin’ this summer is an understatement! Everyone living and working here has just one word- BUSY! Feels like we went from zero to a thousand in a split second, and I have been 100% caught up in the energy of BUSY. But as August quickly approaches, I am determined to slam on the breaks.

My Leo inspired plan for the next month is to do as the children do: go swimming, eat popsicles, play in the sun….
